When you're an agricultural engineer, the world is your backyard. Depending on your interests, your job description might include raising fish, planting trees, or working on a farm. You might be charged with conserving an endangered ecosystem, or developing an eco-friendly fuel source using farmed crops. Though you may spend some time indoors, creating plans and attending meetings, much of your time is spent outdoors in the field, studying and monitoring the natural environment.
